WU … THE NEXT BIG THING IN CHINESE TENNIS

This has been a month to remember for 17 year old Wu Yibing. He won the US Open junior title in singles and doubles and now he has won his first career Challenger title, the Road to the Shanghai Rolex Masters.

Wu defeated top seed Lu Yen-Hsun 7-6 rtd in the final. En route to the title the teenager accounted for No.2 seed Peter Polansky and No.5 seed Hiroki Moriya and then Matthias Bachinger in the semis.
